This section is for members of the press and public alike.
This section provides details of the activities being undertaken to promote awareness of gynaecological cancer and the work of the Venus Appeal.
The Venus Appeal originally launched on the 18th September 2006, with activities all over the country, including simultaneous city centre events in Liverpool, Preston and Manchester. The Preston and Manchester events included the mass-release of balloons with Venus Appeal tags. Other activities included partnerships with local radio stations, such as Key 103 & Magic FM in Manchester, who will conduct a street campaign across Greater Manchester and Cheshire, throughout the week. To see pictures of the Manchester and Preston balloon launches, please click on the buttons to the left of this screen.
