gynaecological cancer awareness

Aims of this site

Be aware of what's down there...

This site has been designed to help you get to know your body that little bit better and be more familiar with what to look out for.

There are four main types of gynaecological cancer and the earlier a cancer is found, the easier it is to treat. The information on this website will help you to identify the common signs and symptoms associated with these cancers and give you further information on what to do, and who to see.

You will be able to read stories written by women who have experienced these types of cancer and find out more about what is being done to promote awareness of gynaecological cancer nationally.

In a rush? Please click here to download the handy Venus Appeal leaflet, which runs through the symptoms you should look out for and includes details on where you can get help. For further, detailed information - don't forget to visit this website again soon!

The Venus Appeal campaign has been supported by an unrestricted educational grant from GlaxoSmithKline (GSK).
